The Shark Face belongs on only two aircraft. The P-40 & the A-10.

Yeah, but are you going to tell the F-14 to wipe that smile off its face?

VF-101 has been reactivated as a Fleet Replacement Squadron, moved from Oceana to Eglin, and flying the F-35C. Sadly, the shark face didn't make the transition.

I grew up near Ft Carson, lots of armor/anti armor there. I remember feeling two things when the A10's or Apaches were flying around:
1. That is a mechanical shark (a killing machine)
2. I'm glad it's not hunting me.

I understand the benefits of the F-35, but if you parked one next an F-14 and asked a 6 year old which was cooler I think we all know what the answer would be! The pics you posted illustrate that.
